I Am No Longer Neutral About Death by Wyatt Hawk
Cynic is my history
Diogenes' often quoted saying
A slave must rule one's master
And I'm obedient to mystery
We sit on the floor like dogs with no kennel
Wishing art could make money
But happy living off lentils
Debating raw life
But resigned to living gentle
Observant is my future
Frowsy footsteps re-traced
We conclude, I'm optimistic
And my present is, I'm saved
